Sticky Yellow Cards

Target pests: Whitefly, aphids, fruitfly, gnats & wasps

The name says it all. They are cards, colored yellow with a sticky coating. Pests from aphids to wasps are attracted to the yellow color and get stuck and die. The best part is Beneficial Insects are not attracted to yellow so they will work together well. Lasts until completely covered. Use one or two in a greenhouse or garden to monitor if there is a pest problem or place every 10 to 15 feet depending on the level of infestation. 5 card per pack with hanging wire.

The Ultimate Slug Trap

10% of the garden pests account for 90% of our inquiries, slugs are in that 10%. In the past we have tested and sold numerous types of slug traps, all work on the same principle and with about the same results. Last year we discovered a slug trap that anyone can make from a sour cream tub that works as well or better than any slug trap you can buy. The fact that we can't make a dime off the idea won't deter us from inclusion in our catalog.

Clean out a used sour cream or butter tub. About an inch down from the top cut 3 openings 3/4" x 2". Bury the tub in a slug infested area up to the openings, fill the tub with beer and put the lid on to keep pets out. The beer attracts the slugs, they crawl in and drown. When it gets full either rinse or throw away. Cheep, easy and works great.

Lady Bug Breakfast

Beneficial Insects feed on pollen, honeydew and nectar as well as pest insects. The Green Lacewing adult feeds only on nectar. Lady Bug Breakfast simulates this mixture to both attract and retain Beneficial Insects that needs these foods when pests populations start to drop and to stimulate reproduction.

Lady Bug Breakfast can be safely applied to fruit trees , vegetable plants and other foods and is entirely safe for human consumption. Spraying Lady Bug Breakfast will not only keep Beneficial Insects in your garden but will actually attract more. Works great as a pollen substitute for honeybees.

Lady Bug Breakfast comes as a dry powder, mix with 4 to 5 parts warm water and spray on plants. Beneficial Insects will be attracted to it even after it has dried. It is not necessary to cover the entire garden, a 1 yard wide band will be sufficient. Preferably in dense vegetation on the up wind side.
