SonicWeb - Biting Insect Control

The SonicWeb™ works on a genetic level to lure mosquitoes and other biting insects to it. These insects are genetically programmed to be attracted to four types of signals: sound, smell, sight, and heat. Unlike other insect control devices, the SonicWeb™ effectively simulates all four of these genetic lures, so that mosquitoes are irresistibly drawn to it and away from you!

The "secret ingredient" to the SonicWeb's unequaled success is the patented Sonic Heartbeat Lure™. The unit electronically generates and radiates the low frequency sound of a heartbeat. Although virtually inaudible to humans, the Sonic Heartbeat Lure™ attracts biting insects over an entire acre!

The Mid-Range and Short-Range Lures

Once they get closer to the SonicWeb™ unit, the insects are drawn in by three additional genetic lures.

Smell: Octenol is a natural fragrance that mimics breath. It is a proven lure for mosquitoes and no-see-ums and can be detected at over 100 feet. The SonicWeb™ unit contains a replaceable Octenol strip that emits a time-released Octenol scent.

Sight: The design of the SonicWeb™ combines ultraviolet reflection and contrasting stripes to visually attract the insects. As biting insects circle the unit, they perceive movement and come in for the attack.

Heat: The 110 degree temperature of the SonicWeb™ unit effectively mimics the body heat of a warm-blooded host.

The Web Traps Finish The Job

Once the insects fly into the SonicWeb™ unit, they are captured by the Web Traps, which are coated with a sophisticated glue that is effective in all weather conditions, including rain and high humidity. Just replace the traps every seven days, or sooner depending upon how many insects you've captured.
